If empty fields and public spaces could vote one might think that Conservative Craig Westcott (sigh and a shake of my head) and Liberal Walter Noel were locked into a tight fight in St. John's West.Unfortunately for them, people vote and signs in peoples windows and their lawns provide a decent indicator of voter intentions. Westcott,to his credit, must have a decent sign team because his signs are up through the district. Walters signs are most visible at intersections and public places in areas near and in his old district of Virginia Waters.
Talking to people in corner stores and little gatherings, it appears Jack Harris is on peoples minds. I have not seen such momentum for a single candidate in a local race in a long time.
Its like "of course I am voting for Jack, is there any other choice?" A no brainer of sorts!
