LEADERS FAIL TO IMPRESS

Harper and Layton are gone clearing the way for a visit to the province by Liberal Leader Stephane Dion today. He is expected to help put the push on Scott Andrews' candidacy in Avalon where there is a tight race against incumbent Fabian Manning.

An Ipsos Reid poll, conducted for Canwest News Service and Global National between Sept. 9 and 11, shows Canadians' impressions of the leaders slipped instead of strengthened in the first week of the campaign.

Thirty-six per cent said their impression of Mr. Harper had "worsened" since the start of the campaign compared with 32 per cent for Liberal leader Stéphane Dion and 15 per cent said New Democratic Party leader Jack Layton fell in their eyes.

That is good news for those of us that do not want to see another Conservative government.

  1. He's going to do more than help your buddy Scott.

BTW, are you still working with Scott on his campaign?

  2. Gee Ed.

Again you intelligence gathering is weak. Who said I was doing any work for Scott Andrews?

and I did not say that Dion was here to only help Scott Andrews.

  3. You only referred to him campaigning with Scott. You didn't mention anything else Dion was doing.

And since you didn't deny working with Scott's campaign - the simplest answer to a simple question - you wound up answering the question anyway.

    Thanks.

We should get paul Wells to poke you again. It triples your output by volume if not by accuracy.

  4. Ed:

I was simply pointing out that you make assumptions and portray them as fact.

As a matter of fact I am not working on Scott's Campaign. Time does not allow it and I am stretched a little thin.

I did contribute a financial donation to him.

As well, I indicated that Dion would be expected to be assisting Scott Andrews because that is where the tightest race is. It was an observation.

Perhaps Paul Wells should read my posts instead of reacting to prods from you guys. Than his comments would not be, how do you say, so far off.
