TWISTED BITTER TRAITOR

I rarely watch the evening television news anymore but I am looking forward to Debbie Coopers interview with outgoing Conservative Cabinet Minister Loyola Hearn. I caught some of his acidic diatribe on CBC Radio on the drive home.

He sounded like a twisted bitter Rodney Dangerfield doing an "I can't get any respect" routine! Seriously, the Liberals never did this or that but I was able to deliver, the Premier is a dictator, he hates me and hates Fabian because we were not afraid to stand up to him.

This is the same Loyola Hearn who fell in line behind Harper in breaking their promises on equalization, the same Loyola who saw Bill Casey kicked out of caucus for breaking ranks on the equalization issue, the same Loyola whose party manipulated the spending limits in the last election. The same Loyola Hearn who demonized John Efford and Paul Martin and voted against the hard fought gains in the revised Atlantic Accord.

Seriously. Hearn's legacy is that he is a quisling to his province. He knows the taste of defeat, let's not forget that Jean Payne beat him in 1993, and does not want to endure it again. He is also a hypocrite who exercised gross punitive retaliations of his own while a federal cabinet minister against those that he considered political enemies.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

  1. If you don't like promise-breakers, why do you like Danny Williams?
