There is the Christmas wish list for those who still believe in Santa, and at Federal Election time federal candidates can expect an envelope from Premier Williams with his wish list. This will be the third time since he became Premier that he has written letters to the the national political party leaders seeking their positions on issues facing the province.
I predict that the NDP will make him happiest. The answers from the Liberals could be interesting. I am wondering how this jives with ABC, what if the Conservatives offer the sky again, will he change his mind? Or if the Liberals fail to make the grade?
The problem with the wish list is that it does not seem to have a lot of currency post-election. Parties scrambling for seats have a tendency to promise what they think you want to hear and when they form the government, well, you get the drift. The parties that lose can promise the moon because they do not have to deliver.
In the meantime, I wonder if there is any outgoing mail to the gynecological oncologists?
