How much is some official Guinness gear worth to you?I admit, I like my Guinness pint beer glasses, my Guinness Black and Tan mug and some other swag that I have been given or purchased over the years.
Is it worth my life? Not a chance?
A 26-year-old man, in this city, made the supreme sacrifice for a bit of swag.
The man appears to have gotten stuck in a window while breaking into a Guinness Store in the West End over night.
The owner arrived this morning to find a dead man wedged in one of the stores side windows.
The burglar tools were found strewn on the ground along-side a bike which the Darwin Award nominee apparently had been using as support.
The owner told CBC news that he wished the guy had been able to get and rob some trinkets, instead of paying the ultimate price.
The investigation by the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is continuing. The cause of death has not been released.
It is almost enough to make you believe in evolution!
