If you think the relationship between the opposition parties
and the Premier is frosty in this province, check out the political climate in
the Wild Rose Province.
Earlier this week, Wildrose Leader Danielle Smith told the Calgary Sun's editorial board that "I get the death glare,"
Smith’s analysis of her first session as Leader of the
Opposition sounded familiar, “"I think the way it's coming off right now
is that she just has no use for the legislature, no use for the opposition and
it's pretty arrogant and dismissive,"
Is it any wonder that Redford has not been in a smiling mood.
Redford is rumored to be coming to Newfoundland and Labrador to spend the holidays with Premier Kathy Dunderdale who knows a thing or two about closing down the freedom of information loop-holes. The same rumor says Dunderdale is considering trading Brad Cabana and the provinces stake in White Rose in return for Danielle Smith.
Dam those pesky politicians, citizen activists and reporters.
Bah Humbug!
