THE DAY AFTER HALLOWEEN

It is the day after Halloween! The wind died down, the rain held off and despite the cold, it turned out to be a great night for trick and treating.

As I look at the bags of candy and chips on the floor in my living room, I am thinking, thank god I am not a teacher. It seems preposterous to have school the morning after a ride on the sugar express!

What to do you do with this mountain of candy? I am thinking of having them make an offering to the Sweets Fairy in return for a special gift for more appealing than candy. I wonder how much this will cost me?

There is a really cool Lego Train set that they would love. Kris will think that it is a little expensive for the sweet ferry but considering the costs of dental bills, sick tummies and enough candy to cause a hyperglycemic explosion in their pancreas, she might see the light.

It is not all about the kids. I want the stuff out of the house so that I will stop eating it!
