An Alumni
of Virginia Park Elementary will be one of the Canadian hockey players
participating in the World Under-17 Challenge Hockey Tournament over Christmas and New
Years.
Clark
Bishop is one of seven Newfoundlanders on Team Atlantic.
The others are Cody Donaghey and Nathan Noel of St. John’s, Lucas Batt of Lewisporte, Liam Hynes of Ferryland, Kyle Tibbo of Conception Bay South and Nathan Yetman of Mount Pearl.

Bishop
joined the QMJHLthis fall. The 16 year-old forward joined the Cape Breton Screaming
Eagles this fall.
The World
Under-17 Challenge tournament is set for Dec. 29 to Jan. 4, 2013 in Victoriaville and Drummondville,
Que.
Clark is an idol amongst my minor hockey household. We are all
very proud of him.
It will
make for some fun hockey over the holidays.
