HANNA HEADS NORTH

It looks like politicians will not be the only thing blowing hard on Sunday. Tropical Storm Hanna is winding its way up the Eastern North American Seaboard and is expected to deliver some high winds and heavy rainfalls as early as Sunday evening to parts of Newfoundland before heading out into the North Atlantic.

Hanna has triggered a hurricane watch along the American coast from South Carolina to Georgia. Hurricane or tropical storm conditions are possible in those areas in the next 36 hours. Flooding in the wake of Hanna has left 137 people dead in Haiti.

The Hurricane season will last well into late October.
