RIDINGS TO WATCH

It's no secret the Tories may lose all three of their seats in the province
- Toronto Star

The Toronto Star, by far my favorite Canadian newspaper, has an interesting article regarding some fascinating races to watch across Canada. While here in the province many of see the battle in Avalon as the one to watch, Tim Naubetz has singled out St. John's South - Mount Pearl.

A tiny mistake in his research. He says the riding has been Tory for three decades. In fact it swung Liberal in 1993. Can anyone remember who won the seat?

move to the head of the class. That was the last election that saw the Conservatives loose every seat in Newfoundland and Labrador
