CANCER FREE

On a personal note, this past spring and early summer, I posted a great deal about my mom's latest battle with cervical cancer.

Yesterday we learned that the treatments worked.  She is cancer free!

Mom and dad came in from St. Bernard's on Monday. It seemed liked the longest three days of my life. A pre-check in September had raised a few flags and we were prepared for more bad news.  Bracing for bad news we were overjoyed to learn that the area that had raised the flag was scar tissue and she is healthy.

We learned a lot in the past year about out faith, love, courage, forgiveness and strength.

The future looks very good and our prayers have been answered.
